SACRAMENTO, March 29 (UPI) -- Darius Songaila made four free throws in the final 10 seconds Friday, allowing the Washington Wizards to hold on for a 114-108 win over Sacramento.

The Wizards increased their lead to 1 1/2 games over Philadelphia in the fight for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Antawn Jamison led Washington with 25 points and the Wizards overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to take a three-point advantage into the final period.

DeShawn Stevenson added 20 points for Washington and Caron Butler had 18. Sacramento was led by Ron Artest with 28.

The teams combined to make 52 out of 63 free throws.
