SALT LAKE CITY, March 29 (UPI) -- Carlos Boozer made up for the unexpected absence of three teammates Friday, scoring 34 points and leading Utah to a 121-101 rout of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Utah starters Mehmet Okur and Ronnie Brewer both became ill with a stomach virus shortly before tipoff and Andre Kirilenko had to leave the game late in the first half with muscle spasms in his right calf.

Boozer grabbed 17 rebounds and was backed up by 32 points and 10 assists from Deron Williams.

The Jazz won their third straight and lead Denver by 3 1/2 games for the top spot in the Northwest Division.

Corey Maggette scored 28 points for the Clippers despite being held out for the entire fourth quarter. Los Angeles has lost in 35 of its last 36 trips to Salt Lake City.
