On the Baseline, an online women's tennis Wed site, said that the untitled project is scheduled for publication in March 2009.
"On Feb. 14th, I officially retired from professional tennis, closing one chapter of my life," the former world No. 1 said. "Now I'm opening a new chapter where I hope to share how I found balance, strength and happiness in my life after a roller coaster ride of exhilarating accomplishment and sometimes overwhelming tragedy."
Seles, 34, was born in the former Yugoslavia, became a U.S. citizen in 1994 and resides in Sarasota, Fla.
She was the sport's first left-handed star and its youngest ever No. 1 player.
She will discuss her self-discovery after being controlled by others for years, the report said.
Her career was interrupted for two years when a crazed fan stabbed her on a court in Hamburg, Germany.
