EL PASO, Texas, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Junior Jonathan Stewart rushed for a career-high 253 yards and scored two touchdowns Monday in Oregon's 56-21 Sun Bowl victory over South Florida.

Stewart rushed for a 41-yard TD and caught an eight-yard scoring pass.

Justin Roper, playing for the injured Dennis Dixon, completed 17 of 30 passes for 180 yards and four touchdowns for the Ducks (9-4), who racked up 534 yards of total offense.

Walter Thurmond and Michael DiVincenzo also returned interceptions for touchdowns in the win.
