COL BKB: Boise State 73, BYU 70

BOISE, Idaho, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Reggie Larry scored 19 points and Matt Nelson was 7 for 7 shooting for 18 points Saturday in Boise State's 73-70 upset win over No. 21 BYU.

The Broncos (9-3) have won eight of their last nine games.

Lee Cummard led BYU (10-3) with 26 points.

The Cougars used a 15-1 run late in the first half to take a 38-27 lead into the break, but the Broncos went up 70-62 late in the game and held on to send BYU to its first loss in four games.
