Fasth shot 7-under-par 65 in Friday's second round and has an overall score of 12-under 132. Fasth was nearly flawless, carding seven birdies, including five in an eight-hole span on the back nine.

"Before I came here I'd been looking at that course for seven days," Fasth said. "I played three practice rounds and four tournament rounds and it kind of gets to your head a little bit how difficult it is."
Hanson, who shot 6-under-par 66 on Friday, is at 10-under 134.
Thomas Levet (67), first-round co-leader Jose-Felipe Lima (70) and Andres Romero (68) are tied for third at 9-under 135.
Defending champion Henrik Stenson (66) is tied for 23rd at 5-under 139.
