PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- A.J. Feeley threw three touchdown passes Sunday as the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles, barely using their starters, beat the Atlanta Falcons, 24-17.

The Eagles won the division shortly after the game started when the Detroit Lions defeated the Dallas Cowboys. After the first drive, most of Philadelphia's starters sat out the rest of the game.

Feeley was 22-for-33 with 321 yards. Hank Baskett made seven catches for 177 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles (10-6), who won their last five games of the regular season to clinch their fifth NFC East title in the last six years.

The Eagles play the New York Giants next Sunday at 4:30 p.m. EST in Philadelphia.

Michael Vick went 8-for-14 for 81 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game in the third quarter with a right-ankle sprain for the Falcons (7-9), who lost their last two games and were knocked out of the playoffs.
