NFL: Baltimore 19, Buffalo 7

BALTIMORE, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Matt Stover kicked four field goals Sunday as the Baltimore Ravens locked up the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs with a 19-7 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Ray Lewis sparked the Ravens' defense with six tackles, a forced fumble and a sack.

Chris McAlister returned his career-high sixth interception of the season for a 31-yard touchdown while Steve McNair was 23-of-35 passing for 216 yards for the Ravens (13-3), who finished the campaign with four straight wins.

Baltimore will open the playoffs at home Jan. 13 or 14.

Lee Evans caught seven passes for 145 yards and his team's lone score as the Bills (7-9) finished with their fourth losing season in the past six years.

J.P. Losman completed 20 of his 35 passes for 237 yards.
