COL BKB: Clemson 67, Ga. State 57

CLEMSON, S.C., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Trevor Booker had 15 points and 12 rebounds Sunday as the unbeaten 21st-ranked Clemson Tigers posted a 67-57 victory over the Georgia State Panthers.

K.C. Rivers had 13 points and Cliff Hammonds 11 for the Tigers (14-0), who extended their best start of a season since a 1986-87 squad that began 17-0.

Rashad Chase had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Panthers (4-7), who lost for the fourth time in five games.
