MUNCIE, Ind., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Robert Vaden scored a game-high 22 points Saturday as 17th-ranked Indiana routed Ball State, 80-56.

Marshall Strickland had 18 points and two rebounds and D.J. White had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Hoosiers (8-2), who have won four in a row.

Julien Mills had 16 points and four rebounds and Charles Bass added 12 points and six boards for the Cardinals (4-4), who have dropped their last two games and three of four overall.

Indiana easily won the rebounding battle, 37-26. Ball State made 18 turnovers to the Hoosiers' 12.
