TORONTO, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced the voluntary recall of Michelina's-brand sweet and sour chicken because of a labeling error.

Bellisio Foods Inc. of Duluth, Minn., the parent company, said "Michelina's Avantage Wholesome Menu Bowl Sweet and Sour Chicken" might contain egg products not listed on the ingredient label, posing a health risk to people allergic to eggs.

The recall involves only packages bearing the UPC 7-17854-21622-7 and the embossed manufacturing code J7270 on the side panel of the packaging. No other Michelina's products are affected by the recall.

The product was distributed across Canada.

Consumers can contact the company at 800-568-5801 to arrange for a replacement.
