WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of six Chinese-manufactured toys because of excessive levels of lead.

Being recalled are Dizzy Ducks Music Boxes, Winnie-the-Pooh Spinning Tops, Robot 2000 collectible tin robots, and Duck Family collectible wind-up toys, all distributed by Schylling Associates Inc. of Rowley, Mass; Dragster and Funny Car toys distributed by International Sourcing Ltd. of Springfield, Mo.; and Pull-Back Action Toy Cars distributed by Dollar General Merchandising Inc. of Goodlettsville, Tenn.

The CPSC said surface paint on the toys contain excessive levels of lead, in violation of federal standards.

The toys, all sold nationwide, should be returned to the store where purchased for a replacement item or refund.

Consumers with questions can contact the individual companies at:

-- Schylling: 800-767-8697.

-- International Sourcing: 877-404-1584.

-- General Merchandising: 800-678-9258.
