ARNOT , Hungary, May 9 (UPI) -- A Hungarian engineer said he is in the process of constructing the largest book ever made -- more than three times the size of a ping-pong table.

Gabor Varga, chief engineer at the paper mill in the town of Diosgyor, said he constructed a special factory hall in the town of Arnot to create an 11.5-foot-by-13-foot book, MTI reported Friday.

The book, which Varga plans to submit to the Guinness Book of Records, will contain images of natural landmarks along the Hungarian-Slovak border in the Gomor-Torna karst region.

Varga told MTI the 320-page book, entitled "Fragile Nature," is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
