DECATUR, Ga., March 26 (UPI) -- A DeKalb County, Ga., man said armed thieves broke into his condominium and robbed him of items including his dentures.

Martin Harrell said he stumbled upon the four gun-toting thieves while investigating a strange noise coming from the condominium next door, WGCL-TV, Atlanta, reported Wednesday.

Harrell said the thieves took him back to his condo and trained their guns on him and his 4-year-old granddaughter, Zapora. He said he offered to take his granddaughter into the bathroom and wait while the robbers took whatever they wanted from the home.

"We stayed in there for about 40 minutes," Harrell said.

He said an inventory of the condominium found the gunmen took a wide variety of items, including computers, food and Harrell's dentures.

The grandfather said he is grateful that Zapora was not harmed during the ordeal.

"This (items in the house) is all replaceable. The life of my granddaughter is not replaceable," Harrell told the broadcaster.
