Palin spares 1 turkey, others not so lucky
The shape of Wesley Acres, built in 1980, is being altered after a Jewish activist complained that it represented Nazi power, the Daily Mail reported.
Israeli-American researcher, Avrahaum Segol, claims the facility is a "sister building" to barracks at Naval Base Coronado in California which us also shaped like a swastika. He reportedly said both structures were contributions of a government conspiracy to pay homage to Nazis.
"We have to come up with a way to fix an appearance that we want solved and not hurt our residents," said Mike Giles, an attorney for the Methodist Homes Corp. of Alabama. He added that the claims are "ridiculous" and honoring Nazis was "certainly not intentional."
