WEST FRANKFURT, Ill., Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Police in West Frankfurt, Ill., said they have arrested a man who was driving through town without a wearing a stitch of clothing.

Police Chief Jeff Tharp said Justin Flora, 34, was arrested after several female motorists called to report a nude driver, The Southern (Illinoisan) reported Wednesday.

"They said he pulled up next to them and was completely nude and he just sat there looking at them," Tharp said.

"He liked to drive around in the nude and look at the women," Tharp said. "Evidently, West Frankfort has a lot of pretty women."

Mayor Marion Presley warned motorists not to follow the example set by Flora, who told police he did not mean to cause any offense.

"West Frankfort is not a nudist colony, so everyone needs to keep their clothes on," the mayor said.

Flora was charged with two counts of public indecency, a Class A misdemeanor offense.
