Couple told too heavy for plane take off
Friday, October 10
Before classes started this week, officials at Discovery Canyon Campus' elementary school announced the decades-old playground game of chasing, touching and declaring "you're it" was banned.
"It causes a lot of conflict on the playground," said Assistant Principal Cindy Fesgen, who said in previous years, she heard complaints that "I don’t want to be chased, but he won’t stop chasing me, or she won’t stop chasing me."
Fesgen told the Colorado Springs Gazette she has supervised playgrounds for more than 20 years and has restricted chase games before, and only received a few complaints.
