MILWAUKEE, May 29 (UPI) -- The manager of a Milwaukee U-Haul store that was robbed by two men said one of the robbers hung around after the crime to ask out a female clerk.

Patrick Sobocinski, general manager of U-Haul, said two men pulled up in a late-1980s model Cadillac and came inside the store Sunday afternoon, WTMJ-TV, Milwaukee, reported Tuesday.

"One of the guys went behind the counter, put his hands around both the employees' waists and told them 'This is a robbery. Give us all the money'" Sobocinski said.

"I think at that point they (the employees) had to be scared for their lives," Sobocinski told the television station.

However, Sobocinski said one of the men remained inside after the other fled.

"He stuck around and was trying to get the female employee's number," he said. "She said he was just saying, 'Hey baby, you're pretty fine.'"

"She said he was saying, 'Can I get your number and go out sometime?'"

The employee refused, and the robbers fled, WTMJ-TV said.
