The men invaded a Queens family's home while the mother was at work, collected the presents and escaped after tying up three boys, ages 9 to 16, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

The boys' mother, Yokasta Bonnet, told the newspaper that the thieves, described as two Hispanic men in their 20s, gained entry into the apartment after asking for her by name. She returned to the apartment to find the three children tied up in a bedroom.

The stolen items include a Playstation 2, a Playstation Portable, designer handbags, perfume and a small amount of cash that the robbers took from the children's pockets, the newspaper said.

Bonnet told the Daily News that she does not know the two men but the fact that they asked for her by name indicates that they may have known her.
