NEW YORK, June 5 (UPI) -- Actors Laurence Fishburne and Harry Connick Jr. have joined the lineup of presenters at the upcoming "62nd annual Tony Awards" show in New York, CBS said.

The Tony Awards honor the year's best on Broadway.

Also set to hand out awards at the June 15 event at Radio City Music Hall are Gabriel Byrne, Julie Chen, Mandy Patinkin, David Hyde Pierce, Lily Tomlin and John Waters.

The stars' names were added to the list of previously announced presenters which includes Alec Baldwin, Kristin Chenoweth, Glenn Close, Richard Griffiths, Laura Linney, John Lithgow, Liza Minnelli, Mary-Louise Parker, Daniel Radcliffe, Brooke Shields and Marisa Tomei.

Whoopi Goldberg is the host of the awards show, which will also feature special performances from the Tony Award-winning musicals "Rent" and "The Lion King," CBS said.
