LONDON, May 14 (UPI) -- Troubled British rocker Pete Doherty reportedly has performed his first post-prison gig with his band Babyshambles at The Forum in London.

Doherty was recently released from jail where he served 29 days for violating the terms of his suspended sentence for drug and driving offenses

The BBC said the singer told the audience at The Forum Tuesday night that he was "a bit rusty" after his time in prison.

Before the band started playing, he also said he wanted to thank "everyone who wrote a letter over the last month."
