LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles family court representative has confirmed pop star Britney Spears plans to attend an upcoming custody hearing.
"It's a hearing to discuss the status of her case," court spokesman Allan Parachini told People.com.
Spears and her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, have been locked in a custody battle over their two small sons for months. Spears has monitored visitation rights and can see her boys several times a week. Federline has temporary physical and legal and custody of the children.
Asked if Federline plans to attend the hearing, his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told People.com: "Kevin has been at every important hearing. I view Tuesday as an important hearing."
