LONDON, May 5 (UPI) -- Authorities reportedly plan to question the 19-year-old daughter of Irish rock icon Bob Geldof after she was pictured in a newspaper appearing to buy drugs.

The Daily Telegraph said Peaches Geldof is to be interviewed by police this week.

However, the Metropolitan Police Service doesn't discuss who it speaks to and would not officially confirm the information.

The News (NYSE:NWS) of the World, which ran the images, claimed the younger Geldof was surreptitiously filmed paying a man and a woman for drugs.

The newspaper said the pair was arrested and later released on bail.

Police seized the footage of the alleged drug deal from the same man believed to have shot a well-publicized video showing singer Amy Winehouse allegedly smoking drugs, the News of the World said.

Paula Yates, Peaches Geldof's mother, died of a drug overdose eight years ago, the Telegraph noted.
