LOS ANGELES, March 28 (UPI) -- Rikki Rockett, the drummer for the 1980s rock band Poison, has been arrested in Los Angeles on a rape warrant that originated in Mississippi, police said.

The Los Angeles Daily News reported Rockett, 46, was arrested Monday night at Los Angeles International Airport as he was getting off of a plane from New Zealand.

TMZ.com said Rockett was in New Zealand to reunite and perform with other original Poison members at Rock2Wellington, a heavy metal show.

The entertainment news Web site said the warrant was issued after a woman claimed Rockett raped her in a room at the Silver Star Hotel & Casino in Mississippi, where they were both guests, Sept. 23, 2007.

Police did not give any additional details about the alleged sexual assault, TMZ.com said.
