LOS ANGELES, March 19 (UPI) -- Sixteen celebrities have signed on to compete in the new U.S. television series "Secret Talents of the Stars," CBS announced.

The weekly talent show, set to premiere April 8, will feature country singer Clint Black, actors George Takei and Malcolm-Jamal Warner, entertainer Marla Maples and figure skater Sasha Cohen. The lineup also includes wrestler Ric Flair, boxing great Joe Frazier, Playboy Playmate Bridget Marquardt, singer Mya, actor Danny Bonaduce, musician Sheila E., boxer Roy Jones Jr., model Cindy Margolis and political pundit Ben Stein.

Additional acts will be announced shortly, CBS said.

Performers from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and former members of Cirque du Soleil and The Flying Karamazov Brothers will appear with some of celebrity acts, the network said.

Each performance will be critiqued by three judges, but viewers will vote to determine which celebrities advance in the competition and which go home.
