Facinelli, Reaser to star in 'Twilight'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Hollywood actors Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Jackson Rathbone have joined the cast of Catherine Hardwicke's vampire movie "Twilight."

Hardwicke previously directed "Thirteen" and "The Nativity Story."

Based on the first installment of Stephenie Meyer's popular young-adult series of books, "Twilight" is a combination vampire tale and high-school romance, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are also to star in the film, which is to begin production this month and be released in late 2008, the trade newspaper said.
