West is up for eight Grammys, while Winehouse is in the running for six awards, including top honors for album, record, song and best new artist, Variety.com reported.

Nominated for album of the year, along with Winehouse's "Back to Black" and West's "Graduation Day," are the Foo Fighters "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace," Vince Gills' "These Days" and Herbie Hancock's "River: The Joni Letters."

The 50th annual Grammy Awards ceremony is slated to take place Feb. 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
