NEW YORK, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Sarah Michelle Gellar has taken the last name of her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. as a fifth wedding anniversary present.

"She officially changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze," a source close to the actress told Us Weekly. "On their anniversary, she showed (Freddie) her new driver's license. It was so sweet."

Gellar is best-known for playing the title character in the cult TV series, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

She and Prinze starred together in two "Scooby-Doo" movies and "I Know What You Did Last Summer."

The couple married on Sept. 1, 2002.
