Taylor Swift wins Horizon CMA

NASHVILLE, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Teen singer Taylor Swift won the Horizon Award at the 41st annual CMA awards show in Nashville Wednesday.

She beat out Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins, Little Big Town and Kellie Pickler for the honor.

Upon accepting the prize, Swift thanked the fans who she said "have changed my life."

"This is definitely the highlight of my senior year!" she told the crowd that included Kid Rock, Nicole Kidman, Sheryl Crow, Jessica Simpson and Jamie Foxx.
