The rock group, which broke up 27 years ago, will temporarily reform near the end of the year for a reunion concert at the 20,000-capacity venue, The Telegraph reported.
Rumors had been increasing recently of a reunion performance by the band's three surviving members as a musical tribute to late Island Record head Ahmet Ertegun.
The concert would mark only the third time Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones have performed publicly together since 1980 when drummer John Bonham died.
The band's performance at the highly anticipated performance at the O2 arena has not been officially confirmed, leading promoters to warn Led Zeppelin fans not to purchase tickets yet.
The British newspaper said should the concert occur later this year, it is expected to coincide with the November launch of the "Stairway to Heaven" band's new greatest hits collection.
