ABUJA, Nigeria, May 2 (UPI) -- Oil production workers on a weeklong strike at an oil production facility in Nigeria can return to work, industry officials said Friday.

Conflicts between Exxon Mobile Corp.'s Mobile Producing Nigeria Unlimited and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association have been resolved, the Daily Trust reported.

"We have communicated the agreement to our members and asked them to go back to work," Olusola George-Olumoroti, chairman of PENGASSAN said.

The shutdown curtailed 860,000 barrels of crude oil exports a day, the report said.
