NEW YORK, March 26 (UPI) -- U.S. crude oil inventories remained stable on the week, a government agency reported Wednesday, but prices jumped on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Crude oil prices gained $3.35 Wednesday to $105.95 per barrel.
The price of heating oil also gained Wednesday, reaching $3.0405 a gallon from a morning price of $2.9499.
The price of reformulated blendstock gasoline gained slightly Wednesday, up 0.034 cents to $2.733 per gallon.
Natural gas lost 0.01 cents in late trading to $9.562 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline in the United Stated rose to $3.261 per gallon from Tuesday's $3.255 per gallon, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
