Japan's Inpex set to work in Iran
TOKYO, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Inpex Corp. of Japan plans to develop Iran's Azadegan oil field next year, Asahi Shimbun reported Friday.
Japan's government, a big shareholder in Inpex, urged caution in committing to the project. But company officials said delays would jeopardize their claim on the project.
Azadegan is estimated to have reserves of about 26 billion barrels.
