EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Computer Sciences (NYSE:SC) of El Segundo, Calif., said Thursday its federal sector business unit has signed 65 contracts and subcontracts worth about $427 million.

The contracts and subcontracts were signed during the third quarter of CSC's fiscal year, which ends on Dec. 31, 2004.

The agreements cover time periods ranging from one month to 11 years.

Civil agencies accounted for 28 awards with a total value of approximately $185 million. Department of Defense agencies accounted for 37 awards with a total value of more than $242 million.
