Chicago reels in brewer for $20 million
Stocks open lower
NEW YORK, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Prices on the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market (NASDAQ:NDAQ) were lower Tuesday as investors awaited data on consumer sectors of the economy. The Dow Jones industrial average was down 15.60 points to 8,317.20 shortly after opening. The Nasdaq composite index was down 4.37 points to 1,335.17.
