Stocks inch higher in Hong Kong
HONG KONG, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Stock prices on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange ended slightly higher Tuesday as investors wrapped up a year in which blue chips plunged 18 percent. The blue-chip Hang Seng Index added 48.96 points, to 9,321.29 -- its lowest end-of-year close since 1995 ended at 7,342.65.
