Motown musical to debut in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- The Motown musical written by founder Berry Gordy Jr., "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," will be unveiled next year in Los Angeles.

The musical, including a book by Gordy and 30 Motown songs, will premiere at the Ahmanson theater in the summer of 2007, Daily Variety reported Friday.

The musical is described by Variety as the story of "young love, the search for self-identity and the urge to rebel."

Single tickets for the Ahmanson's 2007 season don't go on sale until September.
