MANAMA, Bahrain, May 21 (UPI) -- A delegation of Iraqi officials spoke to the third session of a ministerial meeting with Chinese officials on bilateral commercial and other relations.

The third Ministerial Meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum kicked off in Bahrain Tuesday. The program focused on commercial, economic, investment, human development and political issues, the Bahrain News Agency said.

Iraqi Deputy Foreign Minister Labeed Abbawi, who headed the Iraqi delegation, spoke to officials Wednesday on issues pertaining to "exchanging of experiences" on a variety of fronts, a statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Bahraini Deputy Prime Minister Sheik Mohammed bin Mubarak al-Khalifa called on the delegation to focus on an exchange of technologies in the banking and digital service sector.

He reminded the officials of Arabs' "unflinching" resolve to see Iraq return to its normal seat in geopolitical affairs.
