TORONTO, June 13 (UPI) -- Celebrities will be taking part in promoting a search engine site by Yahoo! Canada.
Yahoo! Canada Answers fields questions both local and global, from good neighborhood restaurants to the meaning of life, and in its latest campaign, the Internet giant's Canadian group has enlisted former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, among others, to answer questions regarding planet Earth.
"The participation of some of the world's leading thinkers with Ask The Planet 2006 really drives home how interconnected the world has become through the power of social search," said Andy Renieris, product manager of Yahoo! Canada Search. "Imagine, you may be one of a few people who actually answers a question for one of the smartest people on earth."
