Canadians job-seekers get search engine

TORONTO, June 8 (UPI) -- Canadian job-seekers now have a new job resource, thanks to the new search engine Eluta.ca.

The vertical search engine monitors new job announcements of more than 73,000 employers across Canada, allowing employment seekers to find new positions as soon as they are posted on employer's Web sites, the company said.

The site also includes reviews of each employer with each search result, licensed from a series of best-selling Canadian employment guides, it also said.

"Eluta.ca marks a significant advance in connecting Canadians with new employment opportunities," says Eluta Inc. Founder and President Tony Meehan. "Our new service means new jobs in Canada are now easily searchable in seconds by anyone who knows how to use a search engine."

"This is one of the most novel features of our new search engine," Meehan added. "The promise of Eluta.ca is to help the job-seeker identify likely employers before they post relevant job opportunities on their Web sites."
