Qualcomm files patent dispute with Nokia

ESPOO, Finland, May 24 (UPI) -- Nokia said it will defend itself against Qualcomm's claims that it violated two patent rules in Britain.

The Finnish mobile group said that it has not yet received a copy of the complaint or analyzed the details, having found out about the litigation through Qualcomm's news release.

Nokia did, however, state that it is "not surprised that Qualcomm has once again chosen to litigate" and added that it will analyze the company's claims "when it obtains the complaint and will defend itself to ensure that its rights are fully protected."
