CHICAGO, May 22 (UPI) -- Monday unveiled its latest computerized ordering-and-administrative system for the restaurant industry.
The Restaurant Pro Express software solution included in the point-of-sale system routes orders from serves to kitchen printers and also manages inventory control, personnel matters and processes sales.
"Restaurant retailers have a lot of moving parts to track and Dell can help...by providing an easy and accurate way to streamline operations," said Vincent Vargas, senior manager of Dell Retail.
The system combines the capabilities of desktop computers with those of separate touchscreen ordering monitors, cash drawers and credit-card readers.
