PRAGUE, Czech Republic, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Eesky Telecom is deep into the process of forming an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service for the Czech Republic.
Czech Business Weekly reported Monday that the fixed-line telecom major had eight television and five radio stations signed up for the service, which was pointed to a launch in late June.

A limited test was under way Monday among about 200 Eesky Telecom employees. Once commercially available, the IPTV service will offer major news channels as well as a variety of undisclosed entertainment stations.
The service will run across Eesky's fixed-line infrastructure, which can deliver the necessary broadband access to about 90 percent of its subscriber base.
