BRAZZAVILLE, Republic of the Congo, June 26 (UPI) -- The World Health Organization said it was "gravely concerned" about the "further international spread" of the Ebola virus, already responsible for some 400 deaths. In a message released Thursday, the group called for "drastic action" to stymie the spread.
The outbreak began in the West African country of Guinea; the disease has since spread to neighboring nations Sierra Leone and Liberia. Officials remain worried that the virus could move elsewhere.
