Lean Cuisine owner Nestle announced a voluntary recall of one of its ravioli dishes after three customers reportedly found broken glass in the prepared meals.

The customers were not injured, Nestle said in a press release.

In a press release, Nestle said the recall was limited to two days of production of the Lean Cuisine Culinary Collection Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli, with UPC codes 2311587812 and 2312587812. The "best before" date on the recalled items is December 2013.

Nestle said the recall applies to approximately 500,000 ravioli dishes produced and distributed in November.

"This is an unusual complaint for us because we don't have glass in our factories. We have a no-glass policy," said Nestle spokeswoman Roz O'Hearn, speaking to the Huffington Post. "We are very committed to food safety."

Nestle said the ravioli in question were produced back in November, and very few will still be on store shelves. Customers who may have purchased the ravioli should check their freezers.

If you purchased any of the recalled ravioli, Nestle has asked you call ((866) 586-9424 or contact leancuisine@casupport.com.

In 2011, Lean Cuisine recalled around 10,000 packages of spaghetti with meatballs after customers found bits of red plastic inside.
