MIAMI, July 20 (UPI) -- A majority of men say they would never date a woman with more than three kids, but women are more apt to date men with children, a U.S. survey indicates.

After Jon and Kate Gosselin of TLC's reality show, "Jon & Kate Plus 8," announced they were divorcing dating Web sites Date.com, Matchmaker.com and Amor.com polled members to see how they felt about dating singles with children.

Shira Zwebner, relationship adviser for Date.com, Matchmaker.com and Amor.com says that as the Gosselins venture back into the dating scene, they wanted to know if single men negatively view Kate as being saddled with eight kids while Jon is more attractive to because he's a doting dad.

Thirteen percent of men say they wouldn't date women with children and 10 percent of women say they wouldn't date men with children.

The singles were asked, "If you would date someone who has children, how many children can they have?"

The results are:

-- Only one child: Men 34.8 percent and women 23.8 percent.

-- Two or three children: Men 47.8 percent and women 47.6 percent.

-- Three or four children: Men 18.7 percent and women 4.8 percent.

-- Even eight children are OK: Men 3.2 percent and women 19 percent.

No survey details or margin of error were provided.
