KOBE, Japan, May 16 (UPI) -- Japan reported its first domestic infection of swine flu Saturday, officials said.
A 17-year-old male high school student in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, who has no record of overseas travel, has the H1N1 virus, Kyodo News reported.
Officials said two high school students from the city also have tested positive for the swine flu in local laboratory tests.
The Japanese news agency noted four cases of swine flu were found through health inspections at Narita International Airport.
The patients were among a group of Japanese students and teachers who arrived this month on a flight from the United States after a trip to Canada.
