Novavax's CFO resigns

ROCKVILLE, Md., April 6 (UPI) -- Novavax said late Thursday its chief financial officer resigned to accept a position with another company, the name of which was not disclosed.

Novavax appointed Len Stigliano as interim chief financial officer while the company searches for a replacement for Jeffrey W. Church.

"We are very disappointed to lose Jeff, but we respect his personal decision," said Rahul Singhvi, Novavax's president and chief executive officer. "I am confident that Len has the experience to serve the company well until a permanent replacement is found."

Stigliano, 59, has held general management positions with several companies, including chief operating officer of Omnicare Clinical Research and chief financial officer of IBAH.
