JAKARTA, April 10 (UPI) -- Indonesia's General Election Commission said Friday that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's Democratic Party is ahead in the parliamentary election.
Based on partial election results, the commission said the Democratic Party has more than 20 percent of the popular vote but may not reach the 25 percent of final votes needed to nominate a presidential candidate, CNN said.
