LOS ANGELES, July 15 (UPI) -- Kirsten Dunst stars in a new Fargo season 2 teaser trailer.

"Right From Wrong" sees the 33-year-old actress begin to break down as beautician Peggy Blomquist while crime abounds and state trooper Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) reflects on the moral decay of their small town.

Season 2 takes place 27 years prior to season 1 in 1979, and follows Solverson as he investigates a series of crimes involving a local gang. Jesse Plemons co-stars as Blomquist's butcher husband Ed, with Ted Danson as sheriff Hank Larsson.

Fargo is inspired by the 1996 Coen brothers film of the same name, and will return for a second season on FX in September. The first season starred Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman, and won several awards, including an Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries.
